Defense Technica PC Review [Capsule Computers]

Defense-Technica-BoxArt-01
“Defense Technica’s strongest value lies in a solid foundation that has complimentary supporting assets. The foundation stands firm because the focus remains that the player must defend the base core at all costs. Mechanisms like enemy spawn rate, gameplay speed, difficulty, and tower cost all assist in capturing the fun aspects that make tower defense titles addictive.”

Foul Play Review [Capsule Computers]

Foul-Play-BoxArt-01
Visuals tend to make a title attractive or memorable, and such attributes are found in Foul Play. Let’s first start off by looking at the main character Baron Dashforth. As I began playing my wife decides to chime in and ask me, “is that the Monopoly guy?” Now if I were to ask her a few weeks from now what game I was playing, she wouldn’t have a clue. But all I would have to say to jog her memory would be, “remember? It had that Monopoly guy.” – Joshua Moris

“Phoenix Online Studios went a different route when creating this portion of the series in terms of gameplay. There was a bit of sacrificing playing elements for cinematic pieces, but the overall delivery provided an excellent forum for an interactive story.” – Joshua Moris

Conquer Mars Preview [Capsule Computers]

Conquer-Mars-Wallpaper-01
“The most important attribute that makes this RTS stand out from the rest is its availability. AAA titles normally cost your three sisters and a goat, but Conquer Mars is free-to-play. No goat giving here! – They can keep the sisters… With that being said the game has a lot to offer those of us that don’t want to spend a fortune to play a game title a few times a year at a LAN party.”

Cubetractor Review [Capsule Computers]

Cubetractor-BoxArt-01“Indie titles tend to take some time to mature and essentially “grow” in the public eye. And so the tale of developer Ludochip’s Cubetractor unfolds… Conceived on a napkin in Singapore around December 2011, Cubetractor saw its early formations with collaboration between two members: Bruce Chia and Tan Jianyang Justin. By November 2012 the title was set to embark on a journey that revealed Cubetractor’s destiny.”

“Question 4: Why Van Helsing? What was the reasoning in deciding on the Bram Stoker theme? Was there a team gathering where members started yelling out personal interests (TOOTSIE ROLLS! ECTOPLASM! VAN HELSING!)?”
